In January 2018, Sparkles Inc. (SPY), a rather new label, officially announced the start of a short web series to introduce their newest male idol group. More details and short videos were released in the next two months, slowly introducing all the members and the group’s name Dreamscapes. Prior to their debut on July 21, SPY released Dreamscapes' first music video for a song titled "Liar", which was later released as their very first song.The fans later learned that Minki had been forming the group by keeping a close eye on all his fellow trainees. Those that caught his attention back in 2017 got to perform one of the songs he had written in the past and if there was a connection they were in. It had taken Dreamscapes' leader a while to get the label to release all the music he had written since joining them.They choose the name Dreamscapes because they all had the same dreams and the same ambitions. Letting them form a strong bond rather quickly.The group has a strong fanbase in all the Asian countries and since 2021 they started to also more fans in America and a lot of the European countries. At the beginning of 2022 they had their first lives ever in America and they want to keep spreading their wings as far as they can. In the new year 2023 the sub-units plan to be even more creative than they were last year. Also rumor has it they will release their first Japanese album.Currently they live in two dorms, so that each member can have his own room and with that more privacy. At the end of 2022 Sparkles Inc. (SPY) announced they would broadcast a new series on TV and online to get people hyped for their new male idol group. In around 10 episodes the audience was introduced to a total of 30 trainees and they got a glimpse of their daily lives. As the year came to an end the label said that their trainee Yunseo had selected five of his fellow trainees to from a group with him.For the whole month of January SPY uploaded videos to their YouTube channel of the six guys preparing for their debut, but only Yunseo’s face was ever clearly shown. They wanted their future fans to try guessing who out of the 30 trainees had made it into the group.Their official debut was set for 23/03/2023 and they announced the groups name in mid February. The group would be called CosmosX and their fandom name was decided by the members to be atoms. Following this announcement it was also revealed that each member had an element and the first song they would release was called ‘Big Bang’. Also each element had a color attached to it people would find again in their logo. The elements they choose were: Earth, Water, Ice, Wind, Fire and Thunder.The members and their elements would be introduced in six videos at the start of March leading up to their official debut. They would debut with two songs in total (Big Bang and Universe) and with two music videos in hopes to have an impact. That’s why one of the music videos shows how they created the universe well with a big bang.They currently live in a dorm together and the rooms are shared as follows: Kihyun & Joon, Yunseo & Maru and Kay & EthanTheir name was chosen because they want to take people into their own world or comos with their music. They want to create music that is new and seems out of this world.
